I did the ride in stages during weekends plus the occasional whole week. In total my trip involved 2219 miles of cycling. The map below gives a rough guide to my route.
Although I have completed my ride, my fundraising page for Alzheimers Society remains open until the end of the year.

Hi Martyn, Bournemouth’s not on my “official” list of 100. But I’d love to visit the Firkin Shed and the Wight Bear. If I can’t work it on the bike then I might do a train detour from Southampton. Look forward to meeting you on Friday 3rd July. My wife’s coming on the ride that weekend too. Cheers, Richard.

Hi Richard Congratuations on your ride. Martyn Hillier told me about you. I’m looking for someone to write about micro pubs, or report on them, for a new guide. You seem to have visited a large number of the ones we want to feature – hoping you might ring me on 0207 720 1692 or 07984193529. Andrew Duncan Duncan Petersen Publishing, London

Great blog. I have bookmarked this to give me some good ideas of where to plan my beery visits. Thanks to West Berkshires CAMRA magazine Ullage for letting me know about your blog.

Glad you’re enjoying the blog, Tony. Not so many micropubs round your way yet, but hopefully more soon.
